LOWLANDS 2009

// August 16th, 2009 // No Comments » // dance, entertainment, friends, fun, Play, Video

Gabe Bauer really wanted to me to go with him to Lowlands this year. And the brother tried like other friends to get me a ticket. But right now I need to earn some money rather than spending it on Festival tickets. I love Lowlands and have been going every year since 2004. This is a compilation of some of those years and I want to thank all the friends who made them “Heaven on Earth”. And just for me, Rock it out this year!!! Make me jealous as HELL!!!!!

To the Lowlands 2009 Crew, “I Salute you…. THEO!!!”

Creative Process

To all those creatives, artists, dancers, or anyone who feels that inner torment and struggle of, “Can I produce something good enough?” This talk from Elizabeth Gilbert at TED is something you should watch. It is scary how much this hit home, more than any of the books I’ve read on the Creative Process. We do torment ourselves, and let the ego take over with fear. Allowing that ego to fade away, and just showing up to work and let inspiration do it’s job without the fear is probably the best creative process tip I have heard. At times I have felt it as well. I usually call it the “Flow”. When you are in that creative flow, you feel like a conduit and the inspiration just takes hold of you to create. Enjoy.
