We are thinking of doing Vlog Europe in Amsterdam in November. Still nothing is sure but Raymond just posted this video from last year. It was funny. Vlog Europe has been the longest running annual conference for Video Bloggers since it started in Amsterdam 5 years ago. It is always a great time to see the old school vloggers together again. Much of this is thanks to people like Jeffrey Taylor and Raymond that are always trying to get the thing together. It’s not a TED or a picnic, it’s basically a group, a small goup of us vloggers that were there in the begning and through all the hype that has happend with You Tube, Online Video sharing etc. this group just still gets together once a year to talk about it. It’s always fun.

Michael Jackson Flashmob Dance Tribute Amsterdam

This weekend it happend. My friend Isabelle has been organizin a Dance Flshmob in Amsterdam as a tribute to Michael Jackson. I helped her with some of the production and the editing of the official video. It was an amazing time. Some 1,000 Michael Jackson fans gathered in the Vondel Park on July 19,2009. (more…)

My dad is Qikking it

My dad is Qikking at the Chattahoochee Nature Center. My mom works there saving the environment like she has always done. I remember chaining myself to trees as a kid with al the other neighborhood kids, in protest to a highway being built through a park in the area. Great memories. Love my parents for that. And I love my Dad for running around streaming a local charity event. Activism on the internet doesn’t have to be global scale, it can also be local and niche. That’s the beauty in the flexibility of the internet. Reach the world, or just your neighborhood. Either way, it is good. I love the part in one of the videos when the guy says, “I didn’t sign a release” and my dad says, “Yeah well I’m publishing it anyway.” What a rebel! I have the coolest dad. I love him. “Happy Pre-Father’s Day dad!” You’re QIKKING IT!
