This is the video which played during the Cannabis Cup 2009 in Amsterdam while THSEEDS and HOODLAMB gave a presentation and show with the Rocket Launching. This film was made within 24 hours on a budget of 6 beers, using iMovie, Sony Cybershot and Kodak Zi8. The footage used is from NASA.Directing & Editing is by GabeMac. Hemp Comics

I just saw on The Green Rocket that Dark Horse Comics is using recyclable bags rather than plastic for their comics. They are still using tree paper to print the comics because they feel comics are saved and cherished rather than sent to a landfill. Nuno writes a great rant about how Dark Horse is Greenwashing with this news. I have a great solution I think. (more…)

Saturday Squirrel Time

Just about to head to the park, as should many of you this weekend. At least for a bit. But before I go, here is a video of Squirrels. I know we all hate them, these pesky rodents. I actually don’t like pigeons, but squirrels are ok in my book. Anyway enjoy Baby squirrel learning the ropes on College Campus in the states.

Feeling Guilty about Earth Day?

So Earth Day came and went this week. I hear from some people that they didn’t really do much and are feeling kinda guilty about it. Well in comes Laneo. Why not sign up at Laneo and help the earth, and nature anytime rather than just during Earth Day. That way when Earth Day comes around next year and people ask what did you do, you won’t feel guilty anymore. Andrew Paterson has a great video here about Laneo and it’ a great project. I HIGHLY recommend it.
