I have to admit that I was a sceptic when it came to Obama. I mean for the past 8 years under Bush, it hadn’t been the best time to be an American abroad. It reminded me a lot of when I was in highschool under his dad’s administration with all the bomb threats, not being allowed to go out, lying and saying I was Canadian or something else. It was not a cool time. I have to admit I feel some climate change now with Obama. At least at the moment it us ok to say your are an American again in some parts if the world. Case in point, seeing stores like this one in Munich Germany using Obama has a positive at message to sell glasses. So maybe there us a change coming. At least I can travel without putting on an accent at the moment eh?
