Ladies and Gentlemen. Fans, friends and family. Mobuzz has been saved. Even though we did not reach the 120k from donations that we needed, the side effect of the buzz that was created by trying to save the company created enough interest in investors and media companies to make deals to save the company.

A lot of people are saying on the internet it was a viral marketing trick to boost viewers, create a buzz, and it was staged or fake. If this were true, I would be the first one to jump i and take credit for this awesome viral campaign that worked out. Many of you know how transparent I have been in the past with my viral marketing projects for clients. This was not one of them. Plan and simple. It was not intended as a viral campaign, it was pure luck that this happened the way it did. We had NO idea what would happen, and never expected what did happen. So YES the company is saved, NO it was not an intentional viral marketing campaign. Of course there are people who will always say different so they can blog, post, complain about it, but I beleive if you want the truth, listen from the source. Here is the source folks.

What I took from this event. I have to say this past week has been very emotional. All the positive responses from everyone in the world. I never knew there were so many people that watched and love the show. I could see the stats on the numbers, but that never really makes it ‘real’. All the comments, all the blog posts, all the tweets, all the donations, the messages, videos have given me a face to those numbers. Now when I do a show I know who I am looking at. Such beautiful people from India to Singapore, to U.K. to Germany, to U.S. to Canda, to South America, young, old, male, female. All of you, thank you for your support. You are all superstars in my mind. There were many people who wanted to see us fail, but thanks to all of you we did not. You all proved that the community is a strong force. When you see blog posts, banners or whatever about how mobuzz was saved, you can say, “Yeah, I did that.” and I hope you will be as proud of this accomplishment as I am.
