What have I done this week? Well yesterday I was talking with some homeless people here in Spain while waiting outside the Facebook Garage conference. Giving tips on how to help them get out, just listening to the stories they had, and was quite amazed when I heard that one of them had signed up for a facebook account just the other day actually. That’s right, homeless people are on Facebook now too. I told him to add me as a friend. There are a number of groups for the homeless on Facebook such as “How to help the Homeless” or various groups helping homeless in their community, but I haven’t found a homeless group setup by homeless yet. Who knows, maybe it will happen when enough homeless join.

Something to think about. What social networks can do for the homeless?
