Shakespear’s theater has been found

It turns out that Archaeologists may have found Shakespeare’s original theater in East London, where all the plays from Romeo and Juliet to Much Ado about Nothing were first shown. This is so exciting! I just hope that they don’t build a carpark over it. For more on the story read “Possible Shakespearean Theater Found in London”

“We were there, scratching our heads, looking into the trenches, thinking, ‘this could be it,’” said Jo Lyon, a senior archaeologist at the museum. “So we did some more research, and then we found the angled walls. And we all went, ‘Oh my gosh, this should be it.’ “
